*I decided to put the Enigma Character Series together mostly for the same reason I’ve put the other ones together, to save time and space. I have these pieces posted individually in my Original Character Designs folder, but I will be scrapping them shortly.*

Note: I don’t know what the hell is wrong with my scanner. I colored the hair on all three of these pieces with the exact same purple marker I used on the shirt on the first one, which is a very intense, perfect purple. But it scanned almost blue. No matter what I tried, it came out like this. When I get a job I’m getting a new scanner, this is bullcrap.

#1- I really REALLY like the new WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN cartoon, so here is Enigma’s incarnation from that storyline. This would be her civvies look, pretty basic. Anyway, before the explosion that levels the school, Enigma is an active member of the X-Men and engaged to her teammate, Angel.* When Wolverine returns to the mansion a year later, she is living nearby in the city, keeping a low profile while helping out Beast, who is trying to find out what happened to Xavier and Jean. She and Warren are still engaged, but are not on speaking terms at the moment after a recent fight.

#2- I based Enigma’s W&TX costume on the fishnet one, obviously, I just simplified it a little and I think it looks pretty good. Her powers, by the way, are pretty much the same as in the rest of my fanfic, magic based and mostly consisting of levitation, mystic auras and senses, spell-casting, and teleportation through mist. Anyway, Enigma is enthusiastic about reuniting the X-Men, and joins Wolverine and Beast on their MRD raid. After helping Rogue against the Sentinel Prowler, Enigma breaks her engagement with Angel over his father’s involvement with the MRD and Senator Kelly, and Warren’s refusal to return to the X-Men. That’s about as far as I have Enigma’s plotlines planned just now, though I might mention that in Xavier’s future storyline, there is no headstone at the mansion for Enigma, but she does not appear in any form before the timeline is changed, so her whereabouts in the future are unknown.

#3- Though I haven’t really worked out a lot of Enigma’s backstory for W&TX, I did decide that she was a member of the X-Men’s original team, joining about the same time as Jean. Before joining the team, she is training in her mystic powers as an apprentice to Doctor Strange, but her still-developing powers are unpredictable, and, because her powers are caused by her mutant x-factor gene, Strange decides she will be better off training with Charles Xavier’s X-Men instead. This is Enigma’s original team uniform, the same as the one on the show. I like it.

*While the show has not been clear on whether Angel was an X-Man at the time of the explosion, we do know that he was one of the original team and in episode two Beast invited him to come “back” to the team, so I think I’m making a safe assumption.
