Slowly but surely i am becoming entirely made of metalbleh, i wanted to get a picture of my expander
since it looks pretty scary
but its really hard to take a picture of the roof of ones own mouth.

yeah they hurt
they didnt hurt enough to make me nuts until this huge sharp plate of metal across the roof of my mouth that gives me retainer lisp
but i only have it for a couple months.

I had an expander too, and braces for what? six years I think...anyway I know how it goes. Let me tell you though, when they come off it feels very worth it.

Oh well. It'll make you look younger! But I do hear braces are painful. I used to have double retainers (that is, one for the uppers, one for the lowers). Painful and hard on the ol' gums.
You're not an overly smiley person (neither am I), but with your always excellent self portraiture, it'd be good to see how your whole face looks braced. Maybe yell at some imaginary person (lol idk).
