I like this quality of blue and Granny Smith green. As far as playing with it, if it were a stock photo, I'd snag it and run it through my PSP 10 program. I'm just learning it, and there seems to be a thing where you can turn a photo into a black and white work. And not black and white in the photo sense, but polar opposite values of black and white, kind of like those Che Guevara shirts, but white, not red.
My art teacher at my final high school, in Arizona, had me do a project on some weird paper with a thin black wax covering to it. I had to take what looks like a dental pick and make a rendition of a photograph from a National Geographic. The black wax I removed revealed a white surface.
So, that was longwinded, but maybe you see what I'm getting at. *shrugs*

Simply marvelous, those falls are to die for and compositionally, the apple is a nice touch colour scheme wise...oh, and of course the make-up is divine as per usual...love it!!
