Description
A concept I did for my portfolio class at school. A floating knight created by a mage... there's nothing inside there.Related content

The detail is amazing =o_O= all that chainmail. .. . wow. It does remind me a bit of Full Metal Alchemist, because. . . well. . . there's nothing in the armor! But it couldn't be confused for the armor guy in the show. . . definetly not. I love it! <3 <3 <3 Inspiring! Perhaps in the future, a mage followed by two or more of these knight constructs? That would be some cool picture. ...

nice , the armor is pretty detail , but I think that he sword could be bigger like the one of cloud in final fantasy VII. he also reminds me a little alffonse from Full metal alchemist.

It kills me knowing I'll never be able to do that. It's knife right in my spleen. Love it, by the way! ^^

I like the cross pattern on the sword and the blocky way the armour is put together--gives it real power and solidity. And as usual you;ve packed a heckuva lot of detail into this one. Looks great! Loving your more abstract concepts and weapon designs here lately!

Thanks... this is the first time in awhile I've trying doing a "full suit of armor" or rather... half. Since you like my weapon/hardware concepts, I'll continue posting them here whenever I do them for school.

I'd like to ask you a question, please? What size of paper do you use, I can't get so much detail into my drawings on a simple 8x11. And also, what sort of pen or ink do you use? It looks fine-tipped, small, very able to work detail with. Just wondering, I'd love to be able to add so much wonderful detail to my work but I can't seem to. ^^

Actually... I use a tablet.
I use to draw on 8x12 paper but when I was learning to color things in photoshop it was really annoying. I'd have to spend hours cleaning up my drawings even though I have very clean lineart.. so... I transfered over to using a tablet slowly, and now like it a lot more than drawing by hand.

Thanks! I wish I had enough money to buy a tablet. Where'd you get yours, and how much, if I might ask?

I have an 9x12 Wacom Tablet... I think those are the dimensions. It was about 400 or so dollars, I got it online from a school/education website.
