Fabulous! The shadows on the face, especially the eye sockets, lends the piece a darkness that is both sinister and provocative.

Lovely photograph. The slight blurriness of the lines and shading kinda give the illusion that this is actually a digital painting, and likewise it's realistic enough to mistake it for a photo (if that makes sense).
This could easily just be a regular black and white photograph, with sharpened lines, but the misty lines and brushy greys really give it a more artistic appearance that fools you into wondering if this is a painting or a photo.

everything in this photo works! the shadows on her face, the tints and shades on the shirt and the b&w contrast gives it this flow that color, i don't think, would give it the same justice
