Description Julien is an NPC  in Dragon's Dogma .

Role: Knight of Voldoa - "A knight who was dispatched to Gransys from the neighbouring demesne of Voldoa. He is an upstanding man who believes that putting the needs of the people first is the only right thing to do."

Likes: The well-being of the people, himself

Dislikes: Weakness

Body: Athletically Stylish

Personality: Reserved, passionate, scientific, tactful.
Loyal to his country and its people to a fault (devolves into nationalistic tendencies)

Relationship: Possible Romance

Having been born to a good family, Julien believed without a hint of reservation or irony that everything was for the sake of the people, exactly as he had said to his ruler. Such was his duty as a knight, as it had been the duty of his father and his grandfather before him. However, upon arriving in Gransys he was faced with the dirty truth, for there he met with the decadent, fallen statesmen. They had forgotten that which should have been their priority—the defeat of the dragon—and instead their heads were filled only with the desire to protect their own positions. As he beheld the great leader who stood at the head of such men, the purity in his heart began to slowly but surely blacken. He can no longer find any value in the continued existence of the country. The idealism to which he had clung for so long grows more and more distorted, and he along with it.

And that's what Dragon's Dogma Wiki states! My Arisen really spotted him right away. I mean, who doesn't!?!? He has this pompous aura that I really dislike in general, and yet I knew there was something more in him. Somehow, I new that the Night's Champion was him. And indeed it was. Couldn't quite believe the fact though that a man like him could be a member of Salvation. Turned out of course that it wasn't about belief - he considers them fools - but still, it could serve his purposes. When he started duelling Mercedes, that was my moment of doubt - but only a moment. When I interfered and bested him I was surprised by his reaction. And I was even more pleasantly surprised when I saw that indeed he turned himself in! (No really, since I had got my eyes set on him, the first thing I did after the duel was to visit the dungeons!! ) And there's where the romance (and all the headcanon stuff) started for me. My first gift was a tone of his favorite pie (including my arisen's buahahahaah what a terrible pervert person I am )

Julien, I love you!

He pissed me off at first. But I really liked the way he acted after the duel. He was indeed honorable and that ticked me!

During one playthrough he ended up being my love interest because I just wanted to see what would happen if you interfered with the duel.
I'm hetero, but I was able to make an exception.

This is amazing, I love your style as well as how you took a different spin on his armour, yet you can still what the original may have been. I personally like this version much better! Argh! He is such an underrated characters and I'm glad we are seeing just a little more fan art.
Amazing!

It's addictive, that I can tell!! The story is intriguing in general though you pretty much understand soon what is going on. Sadly there's no a real interaction between characters, your arisen also is a 'mute' (but hey, lots of our character were/are mute ) . Our pawns though (main and secondary ) are voiced, and their story is quite interesting. Gotta love your pawns, I adore mine! Anyway, no need to cover it a lot, in the end you play the game just to level up and beat the bastards that you can't at first (because every new game plus is with all your previous powers) . Numerous options for customization and really some unique elements in battle. Mind you, in DA:I they took a lot from Dragon's Dogma, especially the new way you fight the dragons! All in all, it's a nice game to pass your time! But the graphics are pretty much bad/poor/just bearable. Clearly they focused on the gameplay the most.
