Description
Yeah, I not quite done with exobiology set two.I feel this is a milestone for internal anatomy for me, for this is probably the most unique and original internal anatomy I've been able to develop to far. I'm very please with the way it turned out.
W00t for aliens!

Was this thing nectonic at some point in its evolutionary history? the circulatory system rminds me of that of an annelid.

Possibly at one point, I'm not sure. This was just an exercise so it's not known yet if it'll be worked on further and used in worldbuilding projects. Yeah, it's probably the circulatory arches.

Not again!
I think I'll let this one slide... it's not that earth like... *shifts eyes*
It's actually similar to an elephant trunk in a vague way, in that it has a cavity surrounded by support muscle.
The side things are just veins that carry blood to the gill..

yeah, in a penis, the esophagus is the urethra, and there are two veins on each side, and theres the support muscle too, look it up, but make sure your parents dont see or theyll think your a pervert....hahahaha

Meh, actually, it reminds me very strongly of some sort of annelid in a way: [link] rev=/images%3Fq%3Dworm%2Bcross%2Bsection%26svnum%3D10%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26rls%3DHPIA,HPIA:2006-27,HPIA:en%26sa%3DN
It sort of has some sort of annelidian coelom thing going on.
Someone else said the gills looked like a mouchstache .

I get to pick up my flute on Saturday! I'm so happy his keys are working again!
I had to play as a trumpet for the (2.5 day) week, it was very akward sitting in an all male section for once, the band sounds different from the back of the room! I didn't fair so well being the first time I've played in a large ensemble on trumpet and apologized non-stop for 30 minutes for my screw ups.

the feeding disk looks rather like a face. maybe its because of the moustache.
very cool. very novel and original.
(tiny question - what's a "nephronic mass"?)

Thanks very much!
Haha! I just noticed the gill-stache! Anthropomorphism can work in the weirdest ways.
A cell that pumps out stuff such as nitrogenous waste is called a nephron, so the nephronal mass is just an analogue to the kidney and bladder in a way.

welcome very much.
don't worry about it - if a flower can look like a face or an organ here on Earth, then odds are that an alien can "mimic" a face.
many thanks for the explanation. tis very cool.

Thanks! All alien life is creepy to a lot of people at first. I oviously aren't phased by it and think it's cool. But hey, it evolve from a completely different ancestor, and Earth-like and humanoid aliens are stupid and unrealistic... Except Spock... he's still cool, even if he's unrealistic geeks still love him... And he's funny. *Isageek*
could really creep you out! (Along with most people in school)
