Please read part 1 before continuing! (This is a multiple ending story!)
-------------

Just as you decided you couldn't stand it any longer and you wanted to investigate the rustling, you noticed a rabbit hop into view. A sigh of relief escaped you and you turned to face the flames again. You tossed a tuft of grass in and watched it burn. It felt so warm and comforting. You decided to finally lay down and rest, but the ground was far too uncomfortable and the air was brisk. You tossed and turned all night.

The next morning you immediately began to feel the pains of hunger. You wished you would have snatched that rabbit last night. Oh well. Gathering your things you began to search for anything edible. A few berry bushes caught your eye and you ran towards them. You were surprised to see them so healthy in such cold winter weather. Regardless, it took almost no time to fill up your bag and you smiled, munching on a few as you continued picking.

"Um, excuse me." Came a voice from behind you. Startled, you dropped a few of your berries. The voice came from a man with dark black hair, slicked back into 3 parts. His eyes looked tired and he looked like he had been out in the wilderness for weeks. His head donned a pair of fuzzy earmuffs that reminded you of the rabbit you saw the night before. He spoke again, "You're real, right...? Not another one of the monsters?" His voice was scared, but hopeful.

"Uh...I would hope I was real. So I guess?" You shoved a few more berries into your mouth. You were a little put-off by the monster comment. You were sure you weren't THAT ugly...

The man raised his eyebrow at you and crossed his arms. He examined you closely, "Hmm...it would be far fetched to assume you were Maxwell in disguise, but I wouldn't put it past him. Are you a spy?" He suddenly turned serious.

"Now wait just a second! I've only been here a day! I don't even know what's going on here, or who this Maxwell person is! If anything I want some answers!"

He took notice of your outburst and cleared his throat, "Oh, I'm terribly sorry. He must be planning something with you like he is with me...how many more have to come here to serve whatever purpose this holds...?" He paced in a circle briefly.

"So, um...did you want to try and figure out how to leave this place? I could really use the company and the help..." You gave him a pleading look, hoping he would tag along with you.

He stopped, "I suppose that would be wise. Being around another human would definitely be healthy for our sanity. You lose sight of reality very quickly here, but I'm sure you'll experience that eventually. My name is Wilson Percival Higgsbury. Wilson will do." He smiled warmly at you, happy to have you along.

Smiling back, you answered, "And I'm ___. It's nice to meet you, Wilson."

He turned around and motioned for you to follow, "I have a camp just a little down this road here. You definitely need warmer attire and I have some extra earmuffs for you. I'll also make a heat rock."

Wow, this guy is so nice...and he seemed so intimidating earlier, you thought to yourself. Smiling, you spoke aloud, "Thank you for helping me, Wilson."

"It's no trouble at all, ___. I'm sure with your help we can figure out how to get away from Maxwell for good," He gave you a thumbs up as you continued to his campsite. "Here, it's just around these trees." You both turned a corner to the right and saw a roomy fortress. Its walls were made of stone and you could've sworn you smelled jerky or maybe something cooking.
