Wilson made you a bedroll and handed it to you, "Here, this will be more comfortable than the ground. I would make you a tent but I don't exactly have the proper supplies for that at the moment."

"Thank you, Wilson..." Even though you two had cleared the air earlier, you couldn't help but feel a little out of place. You spread it out on the ground near the fire and tried to get comfortable.

Wilson left to go to his tent. You were a little jealous, but knew it couldn't be helped. You felt like you were overstaying your welcome, and that perhaps you should start up your own camp. You didn't want to be a burden on Wilson anymore.

You slowly drifted off to sleep, the warm fire cracking quieter and quieter as your consciousness faded.

Distant growling made you slowly open your eyes. The fire was getting low, but the sun was just beginning to rise. You sat up and rubbed your eyes. You thought the growling was just in your head, but it began to get louder.

Wilson heard it too and peeked his head out of the tent. Confirming the sound as he stepped out, "Wolves. Of course."

"Wolves?!" You were suddenly stricken with fear. There was no way you could fend them off!

Wilson set up a large chunk of stone at the entrance, "This will keep them at bay but not for long...in the mean time we have to think of something! Wolves are ruthless. My tenth day out here was nearly my last because of those wretched creatures."
