Here's a little meme between Turning Red and the newly released(Which I watched yesterday btw) Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken.

Many people seem to bash Turning Red more than RGTK due to it's topic on periods and puberty, ugly looking facial features, it taking place in 2002, 1 year after 9/11 which it doesn't talk about(A little ridiculous ims) and having no Villain or antagonist. While Ruby Gillman on the other hand focuses on the ocean and sea krakens protecting it from evil mermaids.

Now It doesn't mean I hate Turning Red, it is a pretty good movie and I think that Mei is cute.

I have seen RGTK and it's a really good movie, I would say better than TR.
