Description
So this is a illustration piece from Four Warriors Cometh chapter 43 (currently unnamed)Sayna and Torrin visit the Myth creature’s swamp and enjoy some beautiful scenery. And some not so beautiful scenery. But I won’t tell you about that. Cause spoilers.
Sayna and Torrin bonding happens though, so that’s good. It needed to happen. See the difficult thing with Sayna is convincing her that she is romantically interested in Torrin. Cause they click and are super cute and I just want them both to be happy, but Sayna’s placed herself solidly in the freindzone and is too one-track minded to see anything different.
Aaaand when she finally does understand that she has *gasp* feelings she freaks out, which is amusing.
It’s marvelous.
Sayna is so darn awkward. She can’t romance.
Oh yes. And remember Yar the magpie? From TPF? Well since birds are non-sentient now, Yar is a dark dragon. And there she is.
You might say, 'But Argulor's a bird...'
He would be very offended. That's like calling a Pegasus a horse. Argulor is a pheonix.

Hey! *Waves* Sorry, final projects and finals attacked me and I'm just now responding to everything XD
Yes, he is quite large. But then he can carry mice and rats, even two of them at a time, very easily. He's around... eh, ten feet tall? It's relative since as a bird, he's kind of horizontally oriented. But if he stood upright, yeah. About ten feet tall.
Heh, don't tell her that But she's actually relaxed in this rare moment. ^^

Torrin and Sayna look so happy there, especially Sayna - it's not often that you see her smile like this. Argulor does look magnificent there! His feathers resemble tongues of fire so much.
And it's good to see Yar again! I'm pretty curious how her story would develop now, since unlike the Doomwyte, the mythical creatures are allied with Mossflower, so I expect there would be some changes.
Also, is Yar not full-grown there or is she simply that small? You did mention that northern dragons are generally smaller than, say, Pyralis and his kind, but Yar there looks like she's Eostre's ago or so...

I know, it's one of those rare moments where she isn't panicking or sulking! Who knows, maybe it has something to do with Torrin. Or something else too *eyebrow wiggle*
Yes! I love Argulor's new fire feathers. They're also constantly flowing like fire too ^^
Yeah, honestly I recycled Yar and Yaz into something else, because TPF is morphing... pretty severely from whatever it was before into this story of redemption and old wrongs being righted. It's told basically by Veil and Sayna, actually. Yar still is the one to save Roseanna at great cost like last time, but it plays out very differently. Since Yar and Yaz are actually a sister team that together essentially serve as Argulor's… erm… generals? The Myth creatures are less strictly organized than the other courts.
I probably just drew her a bit small, actually. This was my first time drawing the design in my head of a dark dragon But she is around Eostre's size. Not because she's specifically young, but because she's naturally just small. She's the younger sibling of a dragon family, and those tend to be smaller than the first born. (Like Rocks and Drip, Drip is a lot smaller than his brother)
