I did that once, to go swimming, and then everyone was concerned they're like, how did you get hurt? we should take a look at it!

Same for me as well. Im way to self conscious to show my scars. They are so dark and thick. Maybe when they fade in a few years I wont mind. I wish you the best though :]

My arms are full of scars. And I've learned, there is nothing to hide. It's part of me and that's good. I woun't neglate things I've done in my past.
Plus I can make funny jokes of myself now. 8D

i think it takes some time before one can become comfortable with scars.
i've been cutting for 4 and a half years, and i'm doing really well with trying to stop and it's only now when i don't do it hardly at all that i can be comfortable about them. you know?
and as soon as i can stop completely then i'll be able to openly talk about it, like completely.
so basically, it's something that you have to grow into in a way.
but i understand where you're coming from, as well.
