The art style reminds me so much of Macfarlane it's not even funny. I'll give the show the benefit of the doubt. Still like Mystery Incorporated Velma the best in my opinion.

My only problem with it is thus: my least favorite character of the show has always been Fred, namely because he only cares about his van, his girl, or some other factor of him that's never been mentioned before and won't be mentioned again.
In the series, they did fix that, but they only did so by giving the problem to Daphne.

I dunno, I kinda like Daphne's randomness, it makes her character a lot more interesting rather than her just being the eye candy of the group. now she's a lot funnier and you never know what to expect from her in each new episode.
Fred now is more the straight man of the group, he's the only real sane member besides Velma
