I felt like venting again (in the crappy sketch way lol). I went back to see my MLP/Bionicle crossover drawings. Looking back, I could have did better on the poses and outfits without making them look repetitive.
However, some people were downright pissed that I even combine the two franchises, that I "ruined" Bionicle, which I'm still a big fan of. 
I can understand that ponies being in a franchise can be annoying, but I thought this idea was fun, simple as that.Β But hey, after this will be Sonata, so enjoy for now.

I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of this particular crossover but it doesn't really... BOTHER ME.Β LOL I'm just happy to see people doing something with my favorite series, even if I don't look at it, myself. :3
However, I do know that a lot of Bionicle fans can be critical of how Bionicle characters are displayed, crossover or not, so I completely understand.Β :/ particularly when it comes to showing organic parts, using the movie versions, drawing them as large cats since I really struggle with them, etc... have I left anything out? It deterred me from the fandom for a while, tbh...

Back to Bionicle crossovers, this would be MORE reliable (or any games from this series) than a kid's show with ponies (I'm very sorry but that's true....)

MLP kind of does have quite a few things in common with Bionicle
6 colorful Heroes with varying personalities and specialties
Villains consisting of: A Parasitic queen, a Master of Shadow and a Bringer(s) of Chaos
Both the show MLP and Bionicle have a lot of the same voice actors (Snips apparently has the voice of Makuta and the captains of the guards have eachothers' voices)
Both have/are reboots of the original franchises
They all work to bring peace and harmony (i believe)
There may be some other similarities the 2 franchises have, but anyways, you people get the point.

Not sure if troll, but if not you must be blind. MLP is such a copycat of Bionicle they literally transplanted Jaller and Roodaka into it. It goes down to the voice actors. What the artist depicts here? This isn't even the tip of the iceberg.

I want to see more Mane 6 meeting the Metru to be honest. I think they have more similarities than the Mata/Nuva.

While they have a similar structure (Mane 6 vs 6 Toa) there is one crucial difference: Purple Horse gets more stuff (princess-ified, the castle-del-toy-ad) than her friends while Tahu only ever got that one golden armor set over his brothers and sister. And he lost it as soon as he got it!

You know there are multiple Toa teams as apposed to 1 team of elements of Harmony, and it was never said that Tahu lost his golden armor. And keep in mind that the Matoran can still fight with the help of Rahi, tools and weapons teamed with the Glatorian and Agori over the mass amount of guards Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and Cadence would have (and there has been a theory that Celestia's guards are more for intimidation then fending against attacks, as Celestia ould rather put them out of harm's way by practically throwing herself in front, although they still guard, Celestia prefers to risk her life more than her guards')

Dude. I know this. Toa is kinda in my user name. And Tahu did lose the golden armor right after receiving it from Mata-Nui after he was jumped by Rahkshi, Skrall and Skakdi. I don't see how any of what you mentioned has to do with my comment on the main and first Toa team from the Bionicle toyline compared to the Mane 6 ponies of MLP.

Also, just want to say this, just miscellaneous; he was only attacked by 1 Skakdi; Nektann, the leader of that one specific Rahkshi army appointed by Teridax

I've gotten that kind of feedback from someone on YouTube. The best thing for them to do is to simply ignore it. If they think combining Bionicle with MLP is bad, why do they even waste their time looking at the crossover art. If I were them, I'd just click on something else instead of complain.

Probably because the crossovers are tagged with "Bionicle" and the related characters. Thus, searching for pure Bonkle stuff with result in the crossovers appearing, especially if it gets popular, and it's annoying sifting through piles of things you don't want to see to get to the things you want.

That's great. I plan on next doing the scenes of the mane six finding the stones, the battle with Nightmare Moon, and the return of Princess Luna. Any ideas for some scenes I could do after those?
