What a story today... so, Cartoon Network has apparently released the first six episodes of Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race on their website. However, you need the app and cable provide business to watch them. And actually, I thought I didn't need to since the first episode played. But... the video kept buffering, and buffering... so I ended up watching Episode 1 on a different website (since, it was leaked months ago). The 2nd episode didn't even play for me on CN's site, and there was a camera recording of episode 2, so... while I hate to say it, I watched it there. Thankfully, a friend of mine screenshot a few images of Carrie in high quality since the episode worked for him on CN, so I'm going to draw her next.Β So, I watched the first 2 episodes of the season, and for now I'm just going to wait for the TV airings.So that aside... here's Emma! So far, I like her. She's kinda mean to her sister, and does show a competitive attitude, but I still like her. And of course due to her figure, I wanted to draw her in a back pose.
I might draw her with Sky soon, like Taylor with Courtney, like a dueling. XDAnd just like Taylor, she's bigger as well.
Then again, she's 21, so it makes sense.

I did like the first episode.

I like quite a few. And even those I'm not quite taken for at least have more potential than some of PI. Some characters in there were nothing but props. Like Leonard.

That is true, a lot of these characters have potential, and it's really nice to see more of an age range. But I'll have to agree with you on Leonard.

Thing is Leonard COULD have worked. I said so in a Tumblr post. Basically he's just a prop who's only one note. If they had made him, say, a guy who's just REALLY into character or finds it hard to break out of, that could have been something. A guy with an overactive imagination/love of the craft. But the dude just constantly tries to cast legit magic in situations were just using his fucking brain would get him through easily. It makes the dude come off as crazy. And with how TD handled Mike's issues with Dissociative Identity Disorder, that's not a good thing.
Even the Rockers, the Step Brothers, the Fashion Bloggers. THEY have potential. They have interaction with each other. They work off each other and others.
And my faves like Ellody (also Laurie shares her VA too XD) and the other more popular characters have a lot going for them as characters. They're not just one-note gimmicks.
Characters like Leonard are just there to take up space. Rodney was just a big guy who pined over girls and not much else (the Fresh Tumblr says he's stronger than EVA! But when was that ever proven to be true (or believable). Topher was better in that he made Chris miserable, but had no notable interactions. Beardo was like Staci, but at least he was funny and entertaining.

Indeed, and it's one of the reasons that I never liked Leonard. He's never going to last long in a season, and I saw it coming here as well. But you're right, he could have worked.
