This picture is about what I've noticed on a few sites, when it comes to people who have an issue with Mabel recently. Last night's episode especially. From what I've been reading, in a way I can see why. My personal opinion of last night's episode, while she was a bit petty in the beginning, I felt that the court scene made up for her behavior. So, this was just interesting to read from comments.Oh, by the way, I made this using Illustrator and Photoshop in class, juat to try something, and without usujg a tablet.

For anyone who thinks that Mabel never atoned for her selfish actions, I suggest buying Gravity Falls: Lost Legends and skipping to the story Don't Dimension it.Β That story fixes Mabel's character like no other.Β It's also as weird and funny as you'd expect from Gravity Falls which is unsurprising considering Alex Hirsch wrote it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but...
wasn't the whole reason that Mabel did that was because she was terrified of the fact that she would eventually have to face the harsh reality of what high school really was after been spoon fed sugar coated descriptions of it and wanted to make her last few weeks in Gravity Falls before her birthday worth it by spending it with Dipper, although having him spend more time with Gruncle Ford with the adhesive that Bill was after and was fighting to protect it from him? And the reason that she took the adhesive was that she took the wrong backpack by mistake and even realized she took the wrong bag out in the woods, eventually meeting up with Bill disgusted as Blendin who promised he would create a bubble world made for her from her personality and interests and after she gave him the adhesive she right then and there saw the bad consequence she "supposedly" caused and tried to back out, but then Bill left her unconsience in her bubble world and in some way shape or form, manipulated her into liking it more than the reality outside of it, like I said, through manipulating/fooling her into liking it through her interests and child like attitude?Β
Wouldn't it kind of be more like Mabel becoming Bill's victim and did it through manipulation rather than the other way around?Β
But thats just my opinion on the case.

Oh I was aware of her feelings before weirdmageddon happens, and I can also understand why she would act like how she was in Part 2. This picture I made was more of a joke on people complaining about Mabel's behavior, but hey, people see things a different way. You're not wrong.

Well Dipper never did mentioned to Mabel about people being in danger in the episode.

From what I've heard, her behavior is a parallel to stan and stanford's relationship as siblings. A determined, calculated brother (dipper to ford) gets caught in with a self-centered, or needy, sibling (mabel to stan). This post summarizes my commentΒ ck-blogs-stuff.tumblr.com/postβ¦

Honestly I think people are too eager to blame ANYONE other than Bill who's been working behind the scenes for who knows how long to get through and has tricked not only Mabel, but Stanford AND Dipper several times. She's not at fault here.

Considering how she reacted at the end of the episode, it is implied that she was somewhat hypnotized, which would explain why she couldn't comprehend what was happening outside the bubble. Β Also, she commented that she simply "woke up" in her little world after running away, so it's possible she didn't recall what Bill did with her in between those moments. Other than that, though, this is spot on.

I can't believe everyone is giving Mabel shit about the last episode. I for one felt sorry for her, because I know how she feels. I've been in that situation. We've all been in that situation of when we are afraid of reality and change, and felt all alone. You'd be a liar if you say you haven't.Β

People are actually criticizing Mabel's behavior? The whole point of the episode was for her to learn that lesson in the end, what were they expecting?

I can see the issues they have, but I still think it's at least justified due to the lesson she learned. I still enjoyed the episode.
