Description
While this review was really irritating to sit through, the last few minutes offended me:"People like to laugh, to think, and even be scared, but no one anywhere likes to be disgusted!"
Who gives you the right to say what people actually enjoy? There's a reason why Drawn Together had an audience. I understand why some people would dislike "Drawn Together". It's a show that's not for everyone. However, its raunchy theme is SUBJECTIVE, meaning while some people will be disgusted, others will find the humor to be amusing. You can say those people have bad taste if you want, but Drawn Together is a comedy show, no matter how you think it works for yourself.
"There are rules to comedy, and if you fail at reaching then, then your comedy will fail!"
NO. There are no rules to comedy. Even the simplest things can make someone laugh. Once again, comedy is subjective. What may not work for you, can work for others. No one thinks the same way.
I... I lost respect for this individual. People, enjoy what you want. I understand that there will be people who won't like something, but there's no rule book that says a cartoon CAN'T be raunchy just for the sake of being edgy.
Oh, and by the way, her name is "Toot", not "toots". It's called simple researching on Wikipedia.
EDIT: Wow, this definitely became a controversial deviation. Just to let you know, even after what I say here, I don't hate him as a person, and I never will. I just found this review to have plenty of flaws. I did agree with him on the animation though. If you still enjoy his content and agree with the review, that's fine! We all have different tastes, that was the point of making this whole thing.

Which critic said that? Whoever it was doesn't have a clue what comedy is. What made Drawn together good was that it poked fun at certain things, while it exaggerated/made fun of things in cartoons that have been done to death. After all, there are no rules to comedy.

well, I already called it back when he was doing the spongebob review, but since he was rubbing people's nostalgia the right way, nobody listened

mmm, drawn together was one of those cartoons that I couldn't get into ;;; Not that I'm not into raunchy humor mind you (I like it in moderation, so I watch it if I am in the mood), but the movie was NOT that good ;;;
Technically, he was reviewing the movie and he even said that his views on the film weren't the same as his views on the SHOW. He was reviewing the movie on it's OWN merits, not just because it was a movie based on Drawn Together. Because I can admit, there ARE legitally clever moments from Drawn Together, but the movie didn'th ave those. It kinda just made the things that were like small parts of the characters themselves (as in the aspects that made them funny to some) and kinda over did it to the point that the joke lost it's luster.

I still didn't think he had to keep the show and movie as two separate entities since the movie was like a series finale. So, it was connected to the series anyway.

It's a review for the film, as he is treating it like it's a movie, not an episode of a TV Series. You have to be able to have a film stand on it's own feet, not just with the confindes of a show.
The two Spongebob movies can stand on their own two feet fine, not just because it's a spongebob movie, but they are genuinely fun to watch.
And honestly, I do agree with him on some of the stuff ;;; Particurally with the poor animation quality (it may look similar, but everyone looks like they share the same exact animation as Spanky, and he's meant to represent the Flash type characters so he was meant to have a unique animation to him). And in a lot of his other reviews, he usually has good points.
Look, I can understand you not taking a cartoon all that seriously, I can understand that. But Mr. Enter (and myself, since that's kinda why I watch his reviews anyway) are interested in going into animation, particurally in writing. After all, Mister Enter himself is setting up his own cartoon series, Growing Around. So I think he would take making a cartoon particurally seriously as he has a lot of respect for the craft. I do respect an opinion, and I can admit some of his word choice has some poor wording in it, but he's also free to have his own opinion. As you said, humor is subjective, but there are gonna be those who do agree that the movie itself isn't that good.
Just because Drawn Together was an OK show, doesn't mean the movie will have the same quality.

I'll be honest, I liked the review because I DESPISED Drawn Together but even then I can get that some people like it. like how people like King of the Hill and I think it's boring.
