Not bad for a first drawing on a tablet. Sorry it took a while, but I wanted to re-download Photoshop CS4, and to be honest I can do better linework on Photoshop than on GIMP because I love how smooth the lines are. SO next time, I'll need to try more characters, despite how long they take.

When you try drawing a character when she's wearing that type of clothes when you can see them, it's good that you first draw her body then then the outfit. I mention this because it does look a bit flat.
I was reading "Pose Drawing Sparkbook" and i agreed that you need to avoid the "The Hand of Death" because it's an all too-common pose in which a character mindlessly waves one hand in the air while talking, it's a meaningless gesture an artist uses when he doesn't know what else to do. It's overused.

Wow, I did not know that. I do wonder why that gesture's even there in some cartoons I see. I gotta consider looking into that book one day. Thanks for the tip.
