janet has many powers as the wasp such as she can fly due to wings on her back. her wasp stings enable her to shoot bio electric energy causing major harm to opponents. like ant man she can control her size ( big or small ) to increase her strength. she can control insects also like hank and is bilinguel. she is also a skilled fighter specializng in presure points. she also seems to be very intelligent and good leadership skills. her good side of her personality includes being confident, out spoken, likes to have fun and party, she seems to be energetic and full of life, she is also snarky and quips a bit in battle. another good thing about janet is that she does has a good heart and cares about the people she considers her friends and loved ones. she is also a talanted and famed fashion clothes designer who designs not only her own costume but other heroes as well. ok lets umm get on to the negative parts. on the negative she can be too out spoken to the point of being rude and obnoxious. she can be really stubborn and refuses to listen to people when she thinks she is right. she is very spoiled and pampered young woman who always get her way. she is very flirtatious and often hit on many of the male avengers behind or in front of hank when they were married. she is also prejudice to people she has no knowledge of who she finds either revolting or creepy without getting to know them. ( a prime example is her own early personal hatred and mistreatment against spider-man based on his name and appearance alone. ) she also has a brief affair with tony stark at one point causing tension between hank and stark. lastly she can be a very jealous and insecure bitch at times and was pissed off with hank for seeing other women after their divorce. despite these many flaws wasp is still somewhat an exceptional character despite the load of flaws i pointed out.

note: ok well i finally got to the women avengers part of the fan bios. ok well i will admit right now i sort of have a love/hate relationship with wasp like I do with widow. the comics have for a long time made me not appreciate her character because not that she is weak or puny. no not that at all she actually has pretty neat powers its just that she is usually portayed like a horny ass spoiled bitch is the main reason i still sort of recent her. also the fact she hated and was prejudice to spider-man for no reason making her kind of racist. i can go on why i don't really like her but she is not all bad i know some female characters who r way more bitchy than her (natasha and maria hill). since she is a founding memeber of the avengers and still remains one i will do a bio on her and i will try to be positive as mich as possible.
Janet "Jan" Van Dyne (orinally Janet Van Dyne Pym but that is a long story) aka the wasp - fanmade birthdate (december 21, 1983) date of supposed death ( May 17, 2010 *only to be found alive in an alternate dimension a year later* )
the daughter of world-renowned scientist Vernon van Dyne. Early in her life, she was a flighty, self-centered dilettante living luxuriously on her father's fortune. She had an on-and-off romantic relationship with the world-renowned soldier-of-fortune called Paladin. When an alien brought to Earth during one of her father's experiments murdered the elder van Dyne, Janet contacted his colleague, Dr. Henry Pym. She told Pym of her resolve to bring her father's killer to justice. Pym revealed his secret identity as Ant-Man, and Janet underwent a biochemical process involving his Pym Particles that allowed her to shrink to insectoid proportions and to grow wings. Furthermore, Pym outfitted her with wrist devices which allowed her to discharge blasts she called her "wasp's stings". as years went by she became not only the first female avenger but one of the very first of super heroines in marvel. however things escalated between her and hank as hank became more violent and dark during his whole yellow jacket personality and accidentily physically abused her in a argument.( i dont wish this on any female and feel that a man is not a real one if he hits a female. however she did sort of deserve this ill tell u why later.) the avengers later find out about hank's new abusive attitude during the whole ultron situation and was kicked out by cap. since then janet has felt she can never really find true love again although finally has the independece she had so desired. she later seemed to be killed in a battle but was actually transported to another alien alien universe for a year. she was later found by the avengers as she sent out a distress call with her now fixed avengers card.
