This is a very exact 3d model of my bedroom. It's inside a cardboard box, as this is often how I feel when in here working for hours as a time. This has probably been one of my biggest 3d projects to date. It took 4 or 5 days to get this far, and probably about 50 hours of rendering. Previous betas and such can be found in my gallery. I'm very proud of this piece and would appreciate comments and feedback more than you can imagine.

Model produced in 3d Studio Max 4. Rendered with Brazil. 109,000 polys. 192 polys per thumbtack. Each render took between 6 and 8 hours.
Edit: Moved out of Unsorted section, not too sure about new location, doesn't seem to fit perfectly anywhere.

WOW...50 freaking hours of rendering...lol, i made a motion clip think of a chess game on light wave and it took 1 hour...and i thought that was long...lol, good job...could you check out my stuff because i'm currently lacking comments!...good job...i like the detail

what i say won't really have an impact on how you think or feel about this........ but i just feel like putting my thoughts down somewhere, cause if i didnt then they would just be a waste of energy to think about it then do nothing.................. so here it is: great work...... i think it would be really great if you had a house with rooms and halls all in a box or something like that......... i dunno my ideas arnt very grand, actually they are just the opposite of that.. i think i will go strolling through your other works if you dont mind, well of course you dont mind....... by the way that is the way i have felt many times......... good to see a visual more then just a feeling....... i reallly like seeing people that feel the same way, even better when you can tell by their art work...... i would love to be able to expresse myself through art, a real talent wow i have written alot, and no body will read this! oh well

My boyfriend downloaded this cause he needed it for some art project....I keep stumbling onto it and I tend to laugh everytime....yet I feel sad too. Its amazing how something so simplistic as a representation can really make one question what we are and have in life. Well done.

WOW! That is astonishing work. You know, I think this is by far the most original work I have seen in here. In My opinion.
What are your other plans? Are you thinking of coloring? Maybe cutting out windows and have sunlight reflecting off the objectsβ¦ thatβs another 100 hours of rendering. Good luck to you.

This series gives me a chubby. rendering and lighting/BW color is very dramatic, but the whole life in a cage/box concept is familiar with many.....but this is a great visual interpretation of such a popular comparison. Love the modeling. Basic, yet, LOTS of basic creates not-so-basic. Minimal, yet, not-so-minimal. Great funking JOB!!!!!! Gotta add this one. I'm new to the community, and I believe that you may have already spoiled me.
