Here is another improved version of my Slashinbern series characters Lotus Le'Mantis. Here is the previous version of her: Lotus Mantis (2012) .

Name: Lotus Le'Mantis
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: French
Species: mutated human/insect hybrid
Appearance: body completely covered in exoskeleton, has the front arms of a praying mantis, the tail of a scorpion, and the fangs of a black widow spider.
Occupation: local town feminist
Personality: idealistic, outspoken, androphobic, assertive, deadly, feminazi-esque.
Choice of Weapon: her fangs, and tail, and front legs.

Hobbies: protesting, biting the heads off of men, spinning webs, stinging people.
Likes: the taste of human heads, equal rights for women, nectar, chocolate, scissors, poison.
Dislikes: sexism, inequality for women, all men in general, bug spray, bright flashing lights.
Powers/Abilities: can inject her prey with venom from her fangs and tail, can suck out her victim's blood, has jaws strong enough to bite a human's head clean off, other insect stuff like flying, walking on walls, etc.
Usually Associates With: Millie McSeafinn, Filthy Savage.

Name of Movie: "the Female of the Species"

Backstory: Lotus started off as an ordinary human. She had several ex-boyfriends in her life and they were all jerks to her. It upset her so much that she decided to swear off men altogether and become a feminist protester. One day, when she and her protesting group decided to protest a lab that was doing illegal experiments on various insects, she decided to take it upon herself to break into the lab and sabotage it. But as she did, she lost her balance and fell into a vat of toxic waste and it mutated her into a hideous human/insect hybrid. She was so appalled by her appearance that she decided to take it out on all the men in her life that have ever made her miserable. She hunted down most of her exes, decapitated every single one, and ate their heads. She also did the same thing to her abusive father. Reports of a mysterious vicious bug lady have been showing up all over the news. One person who saw the report happened to be this lady exterminator/assassin and took it upon herself to try and kill the Lotus creature. She tracked her down and soon found Lotus living in an abandoned greenhouse By then, Lotus had lost most of her humanity and given in to her primal bug instincts. They fought for a bit, and the lady assassin even tried reasoning with her, but then she thrusted her trademark katana into Lotus's chest and threw her into a fire that started in the greenhouse during the fight. Thinking she was dead, the lady assassin went on her way into the sunset. Little did she know that a giant praying mantis arm rose out of the burnt rubble.

Other Info: When I first created Lotus, I threw together a bunch of various body parts of the most deadliest insects and made into a female. The reason she has all those insect parts is because I was thinking of the phrase "The female of the species is more deadly than the male" at the time, and in the insect world, females are pretty deadly. The female praying mantis bites the head off her mate, the Black Widow spider devours her mate entirely, only the female mosquito sucks blood, and also bees, ants, termites, and other insects like that are ruled by a queen. So she pretty much is the living embodiment of that phrase. I was originally going to have her wear a necklace with the female symbol on it, but then I gave other OC Rosary a necklace and I didn't want to have two of my OC's wearing two similar necklaces. I also thought about making her French, but then I decided to make her of French descent and give herb a light accent.
