Description
Little tutorial I did for my comic. I'm still learning, but I hope it provides a little help to some (I have a lot to learn, myself).[link]

I loved watching the evolution of your artwork @ nerf-this.com/
Will you also be posting the other tutorial that you did for scoutcrossing.net/ ?
The one with Ruggles action punch? That one showed a LOT how something that seems small can enhance a photo so much! (Like the extra lines around the outlines. I was shocked!)

Lineart is and has been one of my biggest downfalls, and something I've been trying at mediocre pace to improve. I haven't used it myself, so I'm not sure how actually wonderful it is, but Wacom has a neat little device called the Inkling that automatically imports anything you've used your magic pen on into either vector or raster images. (IE, doodle, ink on paper, upload, insta-lineart. *Salivate*)

I think I colored with my intuos for 3 months before I even attempted line work, and it was pretty hairy. I've heard of the inkling, but haven't used one, or heard anything about it. I erase a lot when I'm sketching, so the inkling would probably get a restraining order against me

Lmao! Yeah, artists' pencils never really did me any good with how many hahajustkidding lines there are in my sketchbooks compared to solid noreallyactually lines. If I ever get my hands on one, I'll hafta remember to give you a first hand account.

How is it that your lineart looks exactly like your sketch? What sorcery is this? 8I

I just close my eyes and scream (with a pinch of guilt) and hope it turns out alright

The bottom link is a Photoshop Action that is supposed to make flats much easier. I don't know if it really works, as I haven't had the chance to try it, but it looks promising. Might help make the flats thing a lot less "ewwww"

Said it before, say it again, I still think your work is terrifically amazing, and even in a horrible art funk, want to try to draw when I see your work.
