this really does get me thinking, the number one argument used by politicians to eliminate graffiti is that it adds an air of chaos and uncleanliness to the area. but this, when industrial buildings and inhuman machinery (and maybe society) are already in disarray, adding a mark like this forges a connection between the writer and whomever sees it afterward.
