Expanding a bit on Scaley, now.. haven't done that in a while...

It's almost public knowledge that she is indeed, Protoform Z, the last of the protoform experiments conducted by the Maximal Elders and one of the few survivors. (others included are V, W, X and Y.) Each of the protoforms was given unique gifts - Z (and to some extent X) was given the ability to manipulate her spark energies both for a regenerative effect on herself and even as an offensive weapon. As a regeneration catalyst, it fuses and melts together wiring and metal back into working order (though not as perfectly as a CR chamber might, think of them as field repairs to keep her fighting.) And as an offensive weapon, it can deliver a strong blast to all nearby enemies in a 50-foot radius, delivering extremely painful and effective damage to their internal circuitry. But there are side effects to her as well as her victims. After the blast, depending on how many are effected, she becomes incredibly weak and even loses her ability to regenerate. And to her victims, they gain temporary regeneration, or perhaps one of her traits, or, in some cases, since this is her spark energy, put one of her memories into another's memory core. They do eventually fade away.. but given her past they can really haunt someone for a time until it escapes memory..

She gathers energy from energon, primarily, but she can acquire it from eating organics and other cybertronians, The acids within her systems melt it down and her body collects the energy the process releases, then converts it to energy she can use and stores it. This picture here shows what happens when Scaley reaches maximum capacity. The translucent metal glows brilliantly with overflowing energy and even some begins to seep out (like in her eyes). She was only once seen in anything close to this stage, during the slaughter at Omicron, after engorging herself on the bodies of thousands stationed there. It is rumored that she used this energy to blow up the Starbase Rugby colony not long after, but the blast had drained her so much that she went offline. It is unclear what happened after.
