Commission forΒ fishbook5 Β of their (currently unnamed) dragon character! I really enjoyed drawing this guy; he has a pretty cool scale pattern and I love drawing smiley dragon faces!3 hours in Photoshop CS6.

The commissioner specifically requested that the horns be textured kinda like wood, so I'm happy it's interpreted that way for others, too! and AWESOME I'm glad the scales turned out nicely! I love using red-tinted multiply and overlay layers for shading/highlighting on yellows, it makes everything look so warm and nice
