More practice. Not only with anatomy, but with coloring and other random photoshop stuff. :3 Enjoy!This species is meant to be a scavenger, one who eats the scales of dragons. Whether the dragons are dead, or if the scales are just randomly laying around on the ground, doesn't matter to this critter! It has very strong jaws, and it is very quick and agile. They live in packs.
Think of them kind of like the hyenas or seagulls of the dragon world. XD

^^ I just adore your dragon anatomy! and neat concept with the scale eating and all-- although I imagine they must be kinda small for a group to be sustained off scales! Do they eat anything else? And do other dragons like them for getting rid of old scales and such (kinda like how sharks tolerate fish that eat parasites) or are they pests?

I think of them as around the size of a large dog. However, they stick around massive dragons. I think they'd be total pests to most dragons, but some of them may appreciate the scale-eaters taking care of those stray scales, considering there aren't many other ways to get rid of them.

I could see them hanging around nesting sites and ticking off big mommy dragons with broods XD
