Okay so im pretty harsh on critiques. Im not trying to be offinsive just trying to help! So lets start~ c:
First of all (the good stuff ^w^) the detail, the lighting and shading all blend in very well. Good job on that.
So here comes my harshness! >:U
So honestly if I was you I would have colored the markings (im pretty sure they had some? ._. might just be me lmao) and the eyes. That helps to draw the viewers attention to some parts than the others and overall make it look very nice. I realize this is just a study and its sketchy but maybe you could make it cleaner by blending it in ^o^
I would have used an airbrush and lightly shade the background so it adds depth or something. Honestly I think the background clashes to much with the picture but hey! What can I say this is still freaking awesome! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l… " width="19" height="19" alt="

This is one of the most amazing monsters i've seen in a long time.
Though i would have liked to see him have more of a sharpness to his fangs, to make him look more fearsome?
I personally would have chosen another colour for the background, it clashes to much with the figure, even though you have many types of different grays and shading.
What i love about it most is i actually just want to hug him, as creepy as he looks (i love scary monsters etc)
He looks alot like a tree, like he should be camouflaged in one but thats a real amazing characteristic.

This is one of the best pieces of art I ever saw.
The Shading is solid, giving a strong impression that Dragon is real, a photo.
The Shading and light at the eye are really eye-catching, and it is like the eye is glowing, and soullessly looking at us.
The fangs does not look so sharp, but they look terrifying!^^
The backround matches the creature perfectly.
The Horns look sturdy and hard, it looks like they are going to tackle, making it more realistic.
For negatives, I would only say that the skin looks a biiit sketchy. But it is quite impressive work!!!

Kaiju means "strange creature" or "monstrous creature" in japanese. For example : Godzilla is a kaiju ^^
And you can see this kaiju in the movie : Pacific Rim ^^
