Since she's getting more and more Ryu-like, esp in SFxT(She can do a Shinkuu Tatsumaki Senpuukyakku as an EX move, and she can Shoryuuken via her Cross Art), for her to dress like him could be the next logical step. She could takr Ryu's place in a future SF game, then Sean can take Ken's. XP
This is pretty dynamic. Esp that kick, and the petals floating on her hurricane kick.

If there's any way this artpiece could scream "JAPAN!!!" even a little more, I really can't think of it.

An interesting and sensible concept for a costume, the best part obviously being the lack of shoes.
The pointed toes and the wrinkles on the sole her foot look great, that along with the positioning of her leg, really serve to convey her delivering a powerful kick. The floating sakura petals are a nice touch as well.
Sakura is one of my favorite SF girls and it's awesome to see you do another picture of her, I'd been hoping you would after seeing the other piece you did long ago.

It was always a bit irritating that Sakura always wore shoes. I guess the nearest we had to seeing her feet was that pretty little summer dress costume in Street Fighter 4. May I ask what concept art you based this on?

It should, in all honesty, be the scariest tournament to be barefoot in. It takes one heavy-booted opponent to stomp your foot and you're done.

Heh heh...Then most of the Street Fighter Cast must be braver than we realize with how much they despise shoes...
...and the stomp will only come if you don't get spammed by projectiles or repeatedly jump kicked in the face first...
