One fourth of a picture I'm currently working on (the full thing will most likely be called Trio when I'm done with it). When I say that this is one fourth, I mean there are two other characters to color and a background to do.
I'm trying out a new style of shading here. I kind of like it. You can see my brush strokes, but I don't think I really mind them too much.

So I've thought up a name for this girl. Her name is Rafa. Were she human, she's probably be twelve or thirteen years old. Possibly fourteen, but I don't really care. She might be either dog or wolf, but I'm leaning towards dog. Either way, she's a canine. She's hyper, optimistic, accepting, spontaneous, and also a bit obnoxious to some people. Rafa likes to be friends with everybody and often doesn't get the hint when somebody wants to get rid of her. She dyes her bangs crazy colors whever she has the urge to (thus the electric green), and she also cuts them and gets extenions, puts gel in, whatever. Don't ask how she does that without thumbs. It's her little secret. Okay, so I don't really know either, but it's who she is.
So know you've met Rafa. Good for you. Next up is Darque.
