Description
Another character design for my own muppets-inspired fantasy setting. Colonel Barnabus originally accompanied the boy who went in search of the Sun when one day it forgot to rise. At that point he rode a white lion-like creature. In this picture he rides a Guthwunk (named after the sound they make when they run). They're a sort of Chocobo-type marsupial steed.Related content

I'm afraid there isn't, really. It comes from some half-baked ideas for a comic strip that a friend and I were throwing about when we were teenagers over thirty years ago. The setting was very much inspired by Henson: Dark Crystal, Fraggle Rock, the Muppets etc. Sadly, it existed only as a bunch of sketches and drunken conversations.

That is sad indeed! Would totally love a setting for FATE or something. Your work reminds me of Henson's Labyrinth. Interestingly I was always afraid of the Fraggles, didn't like sesame street, wasn't so keen about the muppets. But I adore them now, that I'm older, I love the work on Farscape, Dark Crystal is still on my watchlist. It's probably time for some more drunken conversations
