great work, did you use charcoal for this? its a great effect

I used a HB pencil for the midtones and 6b for darker tones. In his hair, I rubs the pencil with my finger. I think the effect of coal is due to the 600 dpi resolution that I used to scan, which makes it look grainy. Thanks for your comment, I really like your drawings of Hinata and Naruto, are amazing!

ah i see, i draw in a simalar way to you my most recent drawing i used my finger to smudge and got amazing results am most likely gunna keep shading like this from now on
