Idea is mine, though based on the Tournament of Mortals.Dying slowly is terrible. Whether its by a sickness or burns, nothing sucks worse then a slow lingering death. The only upside is that if you fought either of these two, you wouldn't be alive for long.
Azula: The Princess and aspiring ruler of the Fire Nation, Azula is a cruel and ruthless woman, caring nothing for the suffering she causes, so long as it advances her goals.
Mercer: A walking pathogen, the man who calls himself Alex Mercer is really just a virus taking his form. Mercer will kill and absorb all in his path on his quest to remake humanity in his image.
Now its time for these two cruel bastards to have at it. The only way to get rid of an outbreak is to purge the area with Fire right? But does Azula have enough firepower for the job? And while Mercer may be strong, can he fight someone with powers beyond science? We'll find out, as we continue our search for--
THE DEADLIEST MORTAL!
Finally, in a classic 'To the Victor Goes the Spoils', after you pick a winner, pick something for them to take from the loser. It may be something as simple as a piece of equipment, to something as complex as a power. I'm just curious what you all would say.

Your fight idea are weird... Do you even bother to look at these characters stats before you put them together?

Yes. But Azula and Mercer are part of a special set. They were part of something called 'The Tournament of Mortals', a tournament which sadly doesn't exist anymore. While they didn't fight each other, both were a part of it. I've made it my goal to sort of cycle the characters through all the fighters, making a pic for each possible match. Some turn out good, others turn out odd. It's all in good fun.

Ok, I guess I get it now. I just seen a couple of your pics before and they always seem to be Huge mismatches or total one sided fights (no offense, I don't mean to sound rude If do, and may I also apologize for my other comment, it was very rude)
so are their any "Death Battles" of yours that you, in your opinion are a perfect match's to fight each other? I'd love to debate about them.

It's alright, I get how strange they look. Honestly, Azula has never been popular, and everyone I've put her against for those tends to get that reaction (with one or two exceptions)

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE azula along with avatar TLAB and Legend of Korra but azula vs some one who can basically devour his opponent and crush them inside of himself is alittle overkill lmao

Dr.Strange vs Dr.fate is my favorite out them all, I've thought the same thing and I've honestly came to the conclusion that its a tie lol
When it comes to Lord of the rings vs Harry potter, I'm lord of the rings fanboy, but in reality I can't say I'm a real "fan" of either. But I'd have to go with gandalf even tho I think voldenort is the cooler character
Ezio might be alittle more skilled then helsing but that might just be my opinion

Well in my opinion, Thor crushes Kratos. If this is Marvel Thor we're talking about, then Kratos can hardly do anything to him. The bosses in GoW hardly stack up to some of the heavier tier Marvel characters, and while Kratos 'May' get one good blow in, his lack of armor means that a good swat from Mjolnir should turn him to paste.
Ichigo speed blitzes Inuyasha, though I will say that in terms of destructive energy blasts, they're equal in some ways. Hollow-Ichigo stomps Demon-Inuyasha though.
And I dig Kenshi as a character, and he's one of my favorites to use, after Ermac and Stryker.

I gotta disagree on thor vs kratos, the Greek mythos gods are maybe only one step below Marvels thor. Plus kratos has done more then just kill the gods. he's escaped hell 3 times, he prettymuch man handled the sisters of fate, which both have the power to control EVERYTHING that happens. So I wouldn't underestimate kratos to much
I guess I agree that ichigo could run right through inuyasha, but if it's an earlier version of Ichigo it would be a better fight
Kenshi one of my most favorite underrated MK characters, right next to sareena and Tremor. I'm guessing you don't know who yoshimitsu is huh? Lol
and no comment on Raiden vs Ryu Hayabusa and Broly vs thanos?

Yeah, the ones I didn't comment on were ones I didn't know enough about to make a judgement. Sadly, I never really got into DBZ, and what little I did see I don't recall enjoy to much.
I suppose one could argue that if Inuyasha was able to pull off a backlash wave against Ichigo, he could do some major damage.
And Thor's magical abilities are, pretty much, unlimited. Kratos' magic is drawn from a finite source of internal mana. As for weapons, things like the fire arrows will never move fast enough to to penetrate Thor's skin, even if they could hit him. Things like summoned monsters or ghouls are distractions at best, as Thor regularly curbstomps Ice Giants and the like. And with the exception of the Blade of Olympus and made the Blades of Exile, most other weapons would shatter when struck by Mjolnir (The Spear of Destiny, the Barbarian's Hammer, the Cestus, etc). I'm sorry but it looks like Kratos is far and away out of his league here.

If Azula can't beat Starkiller, there's no way in Hell she could survive against Mercer/Blacklight.

Welp I've watched Avatar and Azula would get her ass kicked in an open or Closed Environment.
Reasons being
1 Alex is extremely agile fast and strong, he'd be able to dodge her attacks and use ranged attacks such as the Spikes that come from one of his Claw attacks or using his tendril arm.
2 Alex survived a bloody fucking Nuke...I'd like to see Azula make it through /that/
3 He's able to use a shield that seem impervious to nearly any attack including a shell from an M1A1 Abrams. Which was probable an HE round (High Explosive) Or AP round (Armor Piercing.)
4 depending if this is Prototype 1 Alex or 2 He may be able to call the infected army for help.
5. One good stab and he'd consume Azula.

Didn't he survived it because he found a crow to consume when it was near his goo body?
Regarding that shield, what about Azula's electric attacks? I saw Mercer got his ass kicked by Cross' electric prod before. Can it defend against those? I think the shield might be more focused on defending against blunt or explosive force. I doubt it can stop acid though

The Crow was the only reason, so to say, even if she blew him up, what happens if one of the tendrils touches Azula? she'd be consumed.
And I'm not too sure about the shields, although I'll look into it, I don't know if Electricity will still conduct through him however.

I'm not sure she'd be consumed that fast. Maybe injured or having a broken limb or something first. Then followed up by automatic lose after she gets consumed. Remember Alex Mercer's mass when he consumed that crow? He was pretty small in comparison

True but if she had a cut or something the consumption would happen very fast being as it would get inside of her.

That'll only happen if she's not cautious enough to avoid Mercer. After you see someone regenerate a limb or head, or survive from lightning blasts without much harm, I'd think you'd be cautious on whether or not you killed them.
Also, in a Death Battle isn't it usually a solo one on one match with no support from others? So I think Mercer's army might not be allowed to participate if that's the case. But if its not, Azula has a higher chance of losing.
Oh and by the way, last time I checked the shield can't exactly block lightning. It can block the impact, but not the part where it travels and fries your body.
Mercer wins this one way or another with his almost immortality
