When one boy’s life is turned upside down, he may end up taking a whole ship with him.
Pillaging, violence and murder become the world he is swiftly thrown into with one accident.
SO, here is one of the poster ideas that I've been working on. There are two versions that came out in the end because I was too attached to both. ;;; Buy prints here! Speedpaint!

Your Riptide posters are epic!
It's slightly hard to read the title because the letters are so stretched, but that skinny effect looks cool at the same time.

The red and white really mix well together, and the lettering is very wonderful too! I love looking at this, there is so much detail to see and everything fits so well together. I think this version is my favourite!

Where do I even begin with this one hoooooo boi
First of all, the contrast in detail between Rupert's face and his hair + hands gives the piece a unique
set up that really draws the viewers perspective to his face and closed eyes, both of which have tremendously
well expressed emotion. The texture you gave in the places where the blood starts fading away adds an
interesting sort of feeling to the artwork that definitely adds a fascinating quality that I personally enjoy
very much.

I really like the combination of those two specific shades of red and blue tbh. That's like my favorite shade of blue so obviously my nipples are diamonds pointing at this drawing rn. I also really enjoy the font you used to write riptide which i literally just noticed this very second. The freckles are blue too omg cuteeee i'm trying to comment but I keep noticing new little nuances so i'm gonna just end the comment here now!

Rupert being this adorable and , I'm sure, innocent bean experiencing these turmoils ensued with much violence tainting his soul and hands with blood. I barely comment, or don't comment, but this is absolutely gorgeous!
It represents (what I feel) is what Riptide is all about and Rupert has always been absolutely stunning, but with the red hands gripping such a blue character just really wraps the piece up so, so nicely.
And if I get the chance, and the money, I will definitely buy something with this piece on it because it's absolutely stunning, unique, and such a cool piece, thank you for sharing this with us! I can't wait to see more Riptide!

i just enjoy how the hands and most of the hair are in a flat color, and the face is given depth through shading and overlapping color
