yes I know the red beetle/scarlet scarab already exist but i wanted to develop my own character using those names

Physical Description: Jenn is 5'5" and weighs 100lbs. Being that she is half Tamaranian, she inherited the traits of golden skin and emerald green eyes. However since that she is also half Daxamite, her hair is dark black. She is of a muscular build but is petite and slender.

Personality
Jenn is a wildcard. She is often vulgar and intrusive. Being half Tamaranian, she was taught to be sexually liberated, and does not view it as taboo in any way. It is simply a recreational activity for her. Jenn is prone to random acts of sex and violence, hair dyeing, flatulence, nose-picking, vomiting, spitting, and more than occasional drunkenness. She always seems to be getting in trouble with animals though she somewhat cares a lot for the environment.

Battle
Power(s): Like all Tamaraneans, Jen's alien physiology constantly absorbs ultraviolet radiation and converts it to energy for flight. She is also capable of assimilating other languages through physical contact with other people. Because of her Daxamite DNA, she also has powers that are identical to those of Superman and other natives of the planet Krypton (super-strength; speed; flight; x-ray, heat, microscopic and telescopic vision powers; invulnerability; and super hearing).
Weapon(s): Red Scarab Beetle
Style: Offensive/berserker
Weaknesses: Severe "allergy" to the inert element lead, which is like Kryptonite to the people of Daxam. Also the radiation of a red star will rob her of her powers.

Background:
Jenn was the product of an adventurous Daxamite who went outside of the xenophobic mindset of the Daxamites and knocked up a Tamaranian. Fleeing the oppressive xenophobes, the couple took their unborn kidlet and settled down across the galaxy on Earth. To keep under the radar, they hid in the remote forests of northern Canada. Jenn was raised there and was free to use her powers without much fear of other people seeing her. One day she encountered a bear attacking a man and sprung into action. She managed to save both the man and relocate the bear, all without revealing her identity. From then on she decided to be a makeshift hero for the town, and those near it. The mysterious hero girl was dubbed Aurora Borealis by the presses.

Her heroing was brought to the attention of The Reach and she was recruited to their forces when the Red Scarab bonded to her. She was then sent into the past to stop Impulse from stopping the events that stop The Reach. She must now finish her mission or else her town will be obliterated.
