No, this time I used a factory BJD head - Luts Cane. The head was modified drastically, I describe the process here: [link]
It's much easier to work on the existing head, and takes less time. But modder should think 7 times prior to doing something because it's impossible to restore the shape. When you sculpt from the scratch using Apoxie you can add pieces anytime.

Starting from sketch is just too hard for me. As such, I gotten a head that is close to the doll I want it to be. But I stone over it for a few days. As you had mentioned, it is difficult to restore it original shape. What's more, my doll face is not in production anymore, this makes me more nervous.
