Description
This is a mouse called Manuna that can be roughly translated from Ukrainian as Shorty or Little One.I kept mice as a pets, and I'm so in love with those little cuties. So I decided to make a doll not too stylized but resembling alive mice.
She is 10.5 cm tall (counting ears).
Materials: 2-part epoxy Apoxie Sculpt, Bosny spray white matte primer, MSC, pastels, acrylics. The doll is strung with elastic and is highly poseable so she can be considered as classical BJD.
Clothes are made of the thinnest cotton cambric I have and are embroidered.
The whole process took 5 months of a rather lazy work))

Oh, congrats for the DD on Mauna! I didn't realize you got that.
I've watched your stuff on the joint. So you used Apoxie sculpt? How easy is it to get to stick to itself? I've used magic sculpt but I've realized I hate it because even uncured epoxy does NOT want to stick to another piece of uncured epoxy. The two won't even blend together. It leaves ugly crease lines in my stuff I try to make and it really doesn't seem to stay pliable long at all.

Thank you very much!
Yes, when Apoxie is too wet there are problems with sticking. I try to apply fresh Apoxie to the dry or only slightly wet cured stuff, and it works OK. It produces almost no seam lines, and proper instrument or a bit of sanding can level out any difference. I never worked with Magic Sculpt but I used another epoxy putty, it has some resiliency that makes work harder; Apoxie is much better.
