Ooooooo so pretty!!!! Do you have a pattern for this? I'd like to make the dress and the suite for an incoming boy who wears rococo fashion.

Sorry, no(( I modified some of my patterns for the top part, and I drew the skirt patterns directly on the fabric.

Hello , I love this dress, actually in in the process of making a rococo dress, I need some advice in how I can make the Pannier, (the boning undergarment casing)

scargeear In reply to thepetitedollworld [2013-04-27 12:00:20 +0000 UTC]

Good luck in your sewing! I made the pannier out of a stiff steel wire, you can use any wire (copper one too) or the synthetic corset bones that are sold in long stripes.
Pannier examples: [link]
I made something similar to this: [link]

Uhhm... I was able to find steel wire in my city in different sizes. You can use corset bones in any case: hope that stuff could be purchased locally or online.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

scargeear In reply to Nishienzo [2012-07-16 04:41:50 +0000 UTC]

Well, the right angle helped me, I did a shot crouching really low. The main rule for dolls is the same as for people: shoot them at the level of THEIR chests.

Thank you! If you are interested in BJD shoes making I'd recommend you to look at my tutorial on Den of Angels (needs registration): [link]
There is a tutorial with lots of photos. There are boots though, XVIII shoes need different pattern and are made of fabric instead of leather, but main principles are the same.
