How to Swear in WH40k
You are doing it right.

XV9 - Forgeworld
Edited the bases and backgrounds from the original images and lumped them together.
The original pieces are not mine (but I do own models of them in person and will eventually upload photos of those).
Nothing more than an avid fan. Beautiful models, and awesome to play with on the tabletop.

Well that is why I intend to deep-strike them into short range, shred 'em, LET them assault, combat with 'em, then leap out of combat with the hit and run rule, shred them, and assault again.

I only use imp. guard so...
although dark eldar might pulp them up close... they pulp almost every one at combat

The XV9s are just ONE aspect of the Cadre, my new scheme, the M'yen'nan, Hidden(unforseen) Blade(sword), which comprises of Broadsides, XV25s, XV8s, Hammerheads and firewarriors.
The cadre includes:
3 Hammerheads, 3 Broadsides, 12 XV8s, XV8 Shas'O with 2 XV8 bodyguards, 5 firewarrior teams (60 firewarriors), 1 Devilfishwith 8-man pathfinder team and 2 marker drones, 9 XV25s, 3 XV15s, 2 Piranha and 20+ kroot with shaper. I can't remember any others, but I rarely get to use my full force XD

If you knew the rules for this... and you could play well.. I've stood in a room of 'veterans' of this game XD
Someone who knew of these brought them up. Everyone practically drooled over what these bastards could do.
This army is ridiculed for being weak in hand-to-hand combat, but these guys EXCELL at close range. They're tougher, meaner.. bigger, faster, stronger
Their GUNS are almost ILLEGAL in-GAME.

Fucken expensive as fuck, but completely worth it.. so long as you don't just buy EVERYTHING at ONE TIME.
Get it bit by bit, enjoy the game as you evolve your tactics

Really really. The game is off the hook. The standard side-arm in this setting is a fully-automatic armour-piercing RPG launcher. And guess what? That's WEAKER than the standard weaponry for these guys. Of course it helps that said sidearm is wielded by an eight-feet tall, genetically engineered super-soldier in powered armour a few inches thick, fueled by rage and faith in the God-Emperor of Mankind.
