Description
One sheet of star flash.I am quite pleased with how this one turned out, especially the leopard print ones as that was a bit of guess work that worked quite well
This will be re drawn in the next week as it looks to regimented and needs to blend with the border more, it also looks a wee bit crammed in.
A3 cartridge paper, black liner, black pen and karisma pencils

Side Note: make sure you get yourself to a few 'Tattoo Conventions' they are just fantastic for starters... but you will gain much knowledge & hook-ups that could be very beneficial

Beat ya to it! Already go to tattoo conventions my first was in 200/2001 I think. Although had a break from them for a good few years, but back on the convention bandwagon, funds permitting, this year!

lucky..i leave for basic training in july but the tat artists up here charge for an apprenticeship....and im broke so cant pay for one DX

Then I would suggest whilst you save get your portfolio together and keep on drawing.
I currently work unpaid as an apprentice and to be honest wouldnt change that. If you really want something you will work for it

im not looking to get paid for bieng an apprentice..and i would work for it...but to get the apprenticeship the shops charge 2500...then u do all the cleaning and work in exchange for learning....and i dont have 2500 to put on n e thing...if i had it thats where it would go tho

To be honest dude, you shouldn't be forking out that kinda money. If you are paying that then you need to look elsewhere. I don't know if things are diffrerent in the states than over here in the uk or not. If that is what they are offering in your town then you need to look further away maybe. If I hadn't been lucky enough to be offered the position I am in now then I would of travelled the lengths of the earth to find somewhere.

im lookin pretty damn hard...im in the middle of nowhere tho...and i leave for basic training for the navy in a couple of months so i dont know if ill even have enuf time n e more...wanted to get it all learned b4 i left but it dont look like its gonna happen that way

Ok, may have read this wrong, but...there is no way in hell you could learn to tattoo, let alone draw a decent sheet of flash in a couple of months! Tattooers who have been doing it their whole lives are stil learning. No disrespect, but tattooing is a craft and not some quick learned money making thing.

i never thought it would be sum quick money making thing...yeah u read it wrong...i ment that imma have to put it off till after i finish my service....and i realize that it is a craft and i have respect for it...all im looking for is tips on how to set up a page for the flash...like tips on how to arange my drawings...iv got drawings and at the shop i hang out at sumtimes...the artist said i got talent and i got enuf designt i just need to arange em and put together in a sheet of flash...and about tattooers doing it their whole life, thats what im looking to get into...its a lifestyle and i want to be a part of the craft that i have more respect and admiration for than anyone else could possibly comprehend.....now that ur at the end of this u may think it seemed like i was going off but i wasnt...im jsut trying to dewll on the fact that im trying to get a chance to do what i love for a living and there is nothing i love more than art in all its form

and one last little thing id like to add is that if i could be a tattoo artist, i wouldnt even care about money....thats how much it means to me...
