i would push the contrast, add some more dark highlights in their.
plus that edge in the background, its overlaping the water, making it A little grumpy.

haha thanks for the comment josh. i actually just did this photo on a whim, it's a faucet in my bathroom here in this lovely building. I don't know the first thing about photography, but i agree with what you said about the contrast... however i kinda thought that too much contrast would take away from this picture, and make it too real or something...
