Note this is just my opinion on the canon Balto/Off Leash family tree I am in no way implying this is true canonically it’s just my head canon.

Later Kitok meets a beautiful white wolf named Aniu, together they have 3 children, Togo, Balto, and Nitti but after finding out Aniu has had some pups, Kitok decides being a father is not for him and he abandons them for the pups to be raised by their mother and once Aniu is killed protecting her pups, the pups are separated. Togo is found by a human musher who makes him into a champion sled dog and Nitti adopted into another pack and Balto adopted by Boris the goose and raised near the town of Nome.
