Description
An early Concept from the Tom Clancy's Game "Endwar".It shows a Joint Strike Force (JSF) Trooper/Rifleman with the XM9 Carbine, replaced in the final version by the SCAR A1 Assault Rifle.
Tom Clancy declared that the XM9, which was supposed to be the evolution of the H&K XM8, was cut from the final version as its predecessor has been very used in many Games...

they should of kept the xm8 instead of the scar in the game

I agree... but Tom Clancy declared that the XM8 has been overused... what about the M4A1 and the M16, then?
Moreover, the Beta Assault Rifle/Carbine is the XM9, which is supposedly the Evolution of the XM8; then, I would have kept it for sure!

Surprisingly enough, the XM9 is used in the two novelized spin-offs to Endwar. So you can say that it wasn't completely cut from the storyline.
