Description this was just a simple sketch in my sketchbook that was intended to be included in my next sketchdump. But I liked it too much that I decided to spiff it up a little in photoshop and make it an actual deviation. I painted it slightly, but I wanted to keep the sketchy doodleish feel to it, because I think its kinda cool. I'm not sure if Mixed Media is the right category... it's part hand sketched - the lineart - part digitally painted. I dunno

He kinda looks like Hiccup, which is why I know is gonna love it. That's why I hurried up and colored it, so I can submit it tonight since we can't hang out today, so this gives her a chance to see it today anyways! & its even betta

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* Wow, it kinda DOES look like Hiccup! In honor of the DVD release of How To Train Your Dragon, which I can't get because I am flat BROKE. IT'S NOT FAIR. But that's okay, I'll see it tomorrow.

I'm really glad you posted this though, you're really getting good at photoshop painting. And drawing more cartoony like. Now I'm curious to see how you would draw Hiccup for real! GO DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well that's a bummer you can't buy it, it is the best movie ever! but I understand the being flat broke part.... AtroBoy is available to watch instantly on Netfix which we have again. Maybe they will do the same with HTTYD !! *wishful thinking*
& thank you I'm really liking how my drawing style is developing *toots own horn* I'm not even really paying attention to it, I just draw without even thinking... its like its coming out the way it is on its own.
I am going to draw Hiccup for real soon Just for you! I almost made this into hiccup and gave him that furry vest, but I didn't. I thought I'd make a Hiccup like character in honor of his awesomeness. He needs a name...

David!!! Idk, I kinda like that name for redhead dudes ever since I found out King David was a gorgeous redead, or so the Bible describes. XD Wow, I am like reeeeeaaaaallllyyy tired right now, and loopeh, and hyper, and crazeh. Anywaaaaaaaay......you need to come over and watch How to Train Your Dragon, cause we got it on Blu Ray, and we got a new TV and a PS3. So ya....COME OVER!!!!!!!!!!

lol xD David does fit but its kinda weird because there was this guy in my hall named David and his brother had red hair and freckles, he sorta does but only slightly, so this pic sorta resembles him in a slight way xD But sure, we can call him David. That sorta makes sense that King David was a ginger, because gingers are da best, and king David was the best, so it fits nicely.
OOOOOOEEEEEEEMMMMMMGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! You got it? In BLUE RAY? and you got a new tv and a ps3?? Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Ok, I am so coming over sometime this week. Today won't work cuz I got an ear-ache and our family study is tonight, but Wednesday afternoons are usually open for me. So, tomorrow?

Yup! Works for me! We can watch HTTYD, brainstorm, play video games, watch other stuff on netflix or something, eat popcorn, and I can finally burn some CDs for you since I found our blank CDs.

I just hope my study does not cancel again this friday and want to reschedule for Monday... but maybe I could come over earlier, hang out for a while, but then take you on my study! If that happens... idk. We shall see. I can't wait to come because I've been working on that 1 Roscoe/Tara pic. So I'm sure you'd want to see it
