Description
So I made an influence map....

1. `loish - I've admired her art for some time. I just love her style of drawing, the colors she uses, the texture of her paintings, the expressiveness, and the depth. I can only hope that one day I will be able to draw and paint as well as her.

2. Pixar animation - I love Pixar movies, and they have somewhat been an inspiration for me. I love the stories, the unique characters, and the styles. It's gotten me more interested in the possibility of delving into animation, perhaps taking an animation class once I start art school.

3. =charlie140588 - She is mega talented, and it makes me want to draw more so that someday I'll be half as talented as her.

4. ~ravenskar - Her paintings also motivate me to keep at it. Her digital painting skills make me jealous.

5. Steampunk/1800's/Victorian/Sherlock-esque/Time Periods - This past year I have really been inspired by the 19th century, and other historical periods.

6. Vintage/Old Fashioned photos and style.

7. Disney 2D animation - I've always loved Disney's style of animation and drawing. Recently I've somewhat been incorporating certain aspects into my own drawing style that is style unfolding.

8. Dreamworks animation - Along the same lines as Pixar animation. I love the movies, the characters, and the style of animation. As you can see, I love HTTYD Hiccup ftw

9. Space - Although I don't really do much of spaceart anymore, I still admire space art, as well as Hubble Telescope telemetry. Even though I'm not doing spaceart anymore at the moment, space still inspires me with all my art, because its just so gosh darn beautiful.

10. Other 2D Animation (non-Disney) - Since movies, such as Iron Giant, remind me of Disney animation, its not wonder that these movies also influence and inspire me when I draw. The style of drawing, the unique characters.....

11. Sunsets/The ocean - I'm very drawn to that orangey glow of the evening, right before and during sunset. I also have always been inspired by the sea, aqua being one of my favorite colors and my favorite color to use in my art

I probably have more influences than these, but I stopped at these because I was getting very... tired. I guess I should have included Michael Angelo and Leonardo da Vinci. Oh well
