I actually cried when I saw Kurt's face AFTER Karofsky kissed him. Then I was "Karofsky's a jerk! And a closet case!"
I'm mix a mix between love (for the pairing), sadness (for Kurt) and anger (at Karofsky for stealing Kurt's first kiss).

this episode made me so happy inside, you have no idea. i honestly never thought much about Dave's taunting of Kurt until NBK. and now it all makes sense.

I was shocked.
Of course, rationally, I prefer Kurt have Blaine, the gay guy with a kind demeanor and doesn't deny, and doesn't push people around for any reason. But it's very refreshing to see a platonic relationship between two homosexual characters.
But the Karofsky plot brings an interesting dynamic that I want to see. He is abusive, but this opens a very interesting plot. Mike Adler was this one-dimensional actor, and within a few seconds, he emerged as an actor.
I wonder how Adler felt. When did Adler was assigned to play the part? Adler was there from the first season. Was he shocked, (or secretely excited to get to kiss the hearttorb Chris Colfer)?

Oh man, I can't tell you how much I would love to see the angsty, drama-licious relationship between Kurt and Dave. I mean, yeah, Kurt and Blaine together is a cute idea, but I'd rather prefer Blaine to be a mentor to Kurt, and maybe even to Dave. I actually just recently read a little interview he had, and he said that he was surprised to see the kissing part in the script.

yeah I mean I'm sure Dave is a good guy deep down and just REALLY confused but it just seems like he's been so abusive to Kurt that there is no way they can be together. not that I don't wish he finds someone to love.

Ah, yeah, I had some trouble with that thought myself, but, I mean, I think that if Karofsky really, really did care about Kurt, he'll change his habits. Sure, its going to take a while, and it sure as hell is probably not going to be resolved anytime soon, because there's 20 billion other characters on the show who need to solve their own issues, but I have hope. Dave just needs to calm his tits

I don't think Kurt's consent is present anywhere here. But it's an interesting relationship. Just, I feel bad for Kurt. Here's a whole new world of uncomfortable for him to have to live in.

yeah... although what with all the other bullying he'd been enduring, at least a kiss doesnt leave a bruise. But it does leave an emotional scar.
No, I'm GLAD they put that kiss in there for accuracy. It's totally dead-on what bullies would do. And Karofsky, feeling all this pressure and a myriad of other conflicting feelings, let it all out in an instinct way. But, I don't see Kurt forgiving him soon. Let us not forget, he's still holding the "basement" incident over Finn's head.
