Description
To those of you new to reading this comic, Demordicai Diamonds is an odd story of two misfits stranded on the backwater isle of Relma trying to make a living for themselves. As the tale unravels, the pleasure of a simple and ordinary life becomes further and further out of reach.Demordicai Diamonds is a collaboration effort between me and my friend "Professor Awesome". We both co-wrote the story that will unfold as you go through the pages. I do all the art work (done in pencil and Crayola colored pencil) and Professor Awesome does a few digital touch-ups with darkening the text, bubble borders, and panel borders.

A bit late but its finally done! Here is the cover for the first Chapter of Demordicai Diamonds, Washed Up. I'm thinking I'll make every cover page look kind of like a book cover.
I had a bit of trouble coming up with a title font but I think this one I made up works fine. I'm really proud of this page

EDIT Looks like I made a slight mistake in this. Oh well, I don't think I'm going to go back and correct it though seeing how it isn't that major. I'll just say Dalken did it

No, he doesn't have a deviantART account even though I bugged him for several months about getting one. He's the co-creator of Demordicai Diamonds. He can barely draw stick people let alone Dalken and Rune. He's more of a novelist really.

Well then why doesn't he just put his written stuff up here? That's what I do.

He's kinda sensitive about showing off his writings. He keeps most of them to himself. Every once in awhile he'll show me one of them that he really likes.

From what I've seen of his work they're really good though he rarely ever finishes anything (if he has, he hasn't shown me). He's somewhat of a perfectionist and just isn't satisfied with his own work. He's always seeing some sort of flaw or not liking the feel of it so he rarely shares any of it if he deems it unsatisfactory in his eyes.
Besides Demordicai Diamonds, I know he has some sort of time traveler story he plays around with. Once or twice a year he'll write poems. He's had a few short stories he's worked on but has never really liked any of them all that much.

I know, its one of the things that motivates me the most in continuing with my work. I'll keep on bugging him about getting an account. He's shown some interest for it but now getting him to act on it is a whole different matter. Maybe after he's done sewing together the Dalken doll.

Maybe. I'd like to see his stuff.
And stick people are awesome. I once choreographed an action scene with stick people. I'll find it and put it in scraps, perhaps.
