Ghostfreak is/was a character from the Ben 10 series, he was one of the aliens that Ben could transform into on the show, but somehow this form was able to gain a conciousness of its own and rebelled against Ben and attempted to conquer Earth by covering it in darkness and transforming its inhabitants into clones of himself. Of course Ghostfreak is just one individual of the species, I think his species is called "Ectonurite", either that or that's the planet he's from.
