Bumped into this while google-image searching for werebear references - I'm designing a friend's sona - and unsurprisingly, this is one of the better designs I've run into. For starters, it's one of the very, very small handful that aren't literally just a pissed off bear with humanoid abs.

It's really hard to find any sort of were-creature besides wolves that aren't basically just that animals head on a human-shaped body. Β It's sorta weird and irritating.
Your design is going to turn out good, though. Β It's you, so it's gonna be good.

I get that people want something cool, dynamic and badass, but what makes bears so intimidating, I think, is their bulk. They're kinda comical, but that just makes them that much more terrifying once they get vicious.
Hm... maybe therianthropes would be a good future "page of monster designs" project. There's a lot of neat things to be done with that.
I appreciate that, btw. Art confidence is something I could stand to stock up on lately.

The only problem is that we don't know what a Werebears weakness is. Until I played the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC and encountered a few, I didn't know there were other werebeasts.

Interesting. It's very hard to do werebears because they either look too animal or too human, hitting an even mix is extremely hard and I think you nailed that very well here.
