The jewel gives Zharr mysterious powers that he doesn't even know how to do. But he learns in time.
I'm also making the jewel out of pewter in art class. I'm also planning to color it as well, that's if I can find a paint that can be used on pewter.

It sorta fused with him.
His jewel used to be pure white, then when his parents died it turned blood red.

The blood jewel is Zharr's family amulet. Zharr's father was a Jackal Warrior serving Anubis, and Zharr's mother was a pure bred wolf. The jewel used to be a Pure White Chrystal. When Zharr's dad made it for him, he told him to keep it close to his heart. When both of Zharr's parent's died, the jewel turned blood red. It is now cursed, but it has a secret. It has mysterious powers that Zharr learns to control as he gets older. But that is a story for another time.
I will show you the powers the jewel possesses when I finish Zharr's comic.
Also, if you want, I can tell you more about Zharr himself. ^_^
