Added 3/21/08While Greymon isn't my favorite Digimon (I like Tuskmon, oddly...) he is pretty darn cool. I actually sorta drew this for , since he likes Greymon. I think.
And yes, I like Digimon. Pokemon, too, to a lesser extent. So nener-nener.

Ehh, the annoyance factor of any given Digi-destined kid has/had nothing on Ash. Hell, Brock was the only Poke-trainer I could stand...hence why I cheered on Team Rocket every time.
As for humanoid 'Mons...one other exception: Myotismon. What's not to like about a master vampire with a big gnarly Digi-entourage, spiffy electrical 'whip' attacks and an evolved uber-form that seriously reminds me of Destroyah?

I can't watch Pokemon. Some of the movies I can stand, but the show...no.
Oh, yeah. Myotismon and his weird Mega form are pretty bad ass. I sorta like Wizardmon, too, but not to the extent of the other 'mon.

Oh, yeah...Digimon. Nifty (and often outright bizarre) beasties, human characters who were moderately annoying at their worst, and hell-even the Tamagotchi-esque 'babies' were kinda creepy in their own right. Certainly more imposing than any 7 out of 10 Pokemon, though a select few from that series weren't half-bad. Now, if (a) the first episodes hadn't used the same damn special-attack animation almost every time and (b) the later series, as DinoHunter noted, hadn't trotted out so many secondhand-DBZ humanoids (though I did dig Were-Garurumon)....
...but anyway. The original Greymon was fairly slick, especially that horned 'helm'; this one improves that feature, adds much-improved limb proportions (not to mention a dynamic pose), and caps things off with a fearsome row of upper fangs. If you ever get the hankering for a Digi-art fest, consider me hooked.

Haha, thanks! Yeah, the characters got annoying at times, but I didn't really notice. I was watching the for the monsters.
The humanoid 'mon aren't my favorites, either, though, as you said, Weregarurumon was an exception. Giant werwolves are always cool.
I have some other Digimon coming, so I'll try my best to reel you in.

Reminds me more of a vicious Geogreymon, from the newer series. You drew him leaner and the stripes are more random, so I'd say that was Geogreymon (who is far cooler, in my respect anyway) XD And deep down, everyone's really a fan of Pokemon or Digimon, no? XD Awesome job on this though. Bringing the violence back into cartoons. Gotta love it.

Cool. I always liked Digimon way more than Pokemon. I didn't care much for some of the really anthro guys, but in general I think they had much cooler monster designs. Greymon and his kin were some of my favorites. Nice job.

Actually, I've found that front views of cats and people are much easier than side views. But for the most part, yeah, front views are frustratingly hard.
